Documentary

As a filmmaker one of Karen Savage's main interests is documentary.

The portraits series '... and Me' is a long-term project starting with 'Gypo and Me', which will offer a series of intimate films that follow characters on an emotional journey.

Red Monk is also interested in archiving one-off events which would otherwise pass unrecorded. 'Sixty Second Film' documents the 2004 short film festival organised by Karen Savage and Garrett Monaghan in Portsmouth, UK.
