Gala Night
The Gala Opening night of Sweet FA, on Wednesday September 30th 2009, will raise funds to support the ongoing work of the New Theatre Royal. All proceeds from the event will go towards this beautiful and historic venue, right in the heart of Portsmouth, ensuring that an important cultural institution can remain central to the Portsmouth community.
And Buster Keaton will be leading the way... following the world premiere performance of Sweet FA, actor James Dangerfield, who plays Buster Keaton in the show, will host a charity auction - 'Buster's Back Lot' - in aid of the New Theatre Royal.
